Laurie Sayevich Horz

Laurie Sayevich Horz is an experienced member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. She concentrates her practice on all facets of commercial, contractual, real property and corporate governance disputes in federal and state courts, and arbitration. She has successfully obtained favorable jury verdicts and argued appeals in federal and state courts in New York, and represented clients in litigation outside of New York, as well as in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the International Center for Dispute Resolution.

She is admitted to practice law in New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms. Sayevich Horz began her law career as legal clerk to the Hon. E. Thomas Boyle, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and a volunteer with the Suffolk County Girl Scouts.

Ms. Sayevich Horz received her Juris Doctor degree, with distinction, in 1995 from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of “Notes and Comments” for the Hofstra Labor Law Journal. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in 1992 from the State University of New York State at Binghamton, where she was a double major in Political Science and History.
